Member Engagement Specialist presso YMCA of Central Texas

The YMCA of Central Texas has a part-time opportunity for a Member Engagement Specialist. We are seeking a customer service rock star! This person will enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and will help ensure member retention. The successful candidate will be available to work varied hours to be able to connect with all of our members and guests.

The Member Engagement Specialist will meet and greet YMCA members and guests, develop, promote and communicate programs, special events and related branch activities. The ideal candidate will also coordinate programs for our Older Active Adult Seniors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet members and guests
• Supervise, develop and promote Seniors Programs, Social Events & Activities
• Develop a communication plan that reaches members and guests
• Meet budgeting expectations
• Responsible for sales and growth of 3rd Party Pay membership
• Actively promote and operate programs within the guidelines established by the Core Department group

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Strong Relationship and Customer Service Skills
• Sales Experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or other related field preferred

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $19.00/hour
