Assistant Controller presso Viaero Wireless

Viaero's Assistant Controller is an integral part of the accounting team and is responsible for a wide variety of functions and responsibilities.  The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They must be able to support and encourage teamwork while still be able to work independently to meet specific goals and timelines. This person will work onsite in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing duties for financial statement and other reporting requirements.
• Reconciliation of general ledger balances to detail.
• Organize data for leases, grants, and other special projects.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions including vendor, customer, and banking responsibilities.
• Provide support for new system integration and implementation initiatives.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation.
• Other responsibilities as directed.
• Adherence to internal financial controls plus all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Accounting and Supervisory experience
• Accounting degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or
• experience

Other qualifications include:

• Good working knowledge of accounting principles and software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written & verbal communication skills

Must have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law. 

The pay for this position has an anticipated salary range of $70,000 to $75,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and industry experience.
