Key Responsibilities
This is an entry level position consisting predominately of the following tasks:
- Field data collection and processing.
- Quality control, organization, and analysis of these data.
- Position requires significant outdoor work in all manner of weather.
- Weekend and occasional holiday work required based upon project needs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience with the following is preferred:
- Field data collection, documentation, analysis, and reporting.
- Map reading, GPS, navigation, and GIS data collection and processing.
- Aquatic sampling procedures including stream velocity measurement, benthic macroinvertebrate sampling, and wetland delineation.
The successful candidate will possess a strong preference for working in an outdoor setting regardless of the weather conditions.
