Senior Manager Labs - Organics/Inorganics presso Audit Delivery_Unit

Leadership & Team Oversight

• Lead and manage the organics laboratory team, including supervisors and analysts.
• Teach, coach, and mentor the management team to build leadership capacity.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and innovation across all lab operations.

Operational Efficiency

• Streamline workflows and implement Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Monitor and optimize turnaround time (TAT) without compromising data quality.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in sample flow and analytical processes.

Productivity Enhancement

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to output, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement automation and digital tools to enhance sample tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure uninterrupted laboratory performance.

Technical Oversight

• Oversee the development, validation, and implementation of analytical methods.
• Ensure compliance with NSF/ANSI standards, EPA methods, and ISO 17025 accreditation requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex analytical issues and lead root cause investigations as needed.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain rigorous quality control and assurance practices to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and inspections.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align lab operations with NSF’s strategic goals.
• Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, client meetings, and service expansion strategies.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in analytical laboratory management, with a focus on organic chemistry.
• Proven leadership experience in a high-throughput laboratory environment.
•  Strong knowledge of EPA methods, NSF/ANSI standards, and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
