The Project: Mace is seeking a Data/Digital Transformation Lead full-time based in New York City to work directly with our clients on capital projects.

Providing leadership direction and execution in the provision of Data Engineering and Data Analyst service across delivery teams. 
Responsible for the design, development and quality assurance data warehouse, including the provision of reporting and analytics solutions in line with the Mace data strategy.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Coordinating the delivery of BAU development solutions or smaller projects, where a dedicated Project Manager is not available.
• Establishing relationships with business stakeholders and SMEs across the engines and act as the primary liaison between the business and technology teams to deliver reporting/BI and analytics solutions.
• Consulting on new business requests, prioritise work, promote collaboration, monitor progress.
• Engaging with data architecture teams to scope out changes to data and information architecture.
• Developing a good understanding of existing business processes, together with the supporting system's functionality and data.
• Challenging business and technology stakeholders to find more efficient and simpler solutions.
• Providing an external perspective of best practices and/or innovation from other sectors.
• Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft data, reporting, BI and Analytics tools including: -
• Data lake, ETL/ELT, SQL Server, Power BI.
• Experienced at presenting complex messages to senior stakeholders up to Board-level.
• Experience in both waterfall and agile delivery.
• Project management principles.
• Direct line management experience.
• Experience in managing a team of technical IT specialists.
• Experience with offshore delivery models.

Note - The estimated salary for this position is $170,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
