SUMMARY
Ingenovis Health is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our technology team. As one of the largest healthcare workforce solutions companies in North America, we are building innovative platforms to support healthcare professionals and internal operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable web, mobile and backend applications, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a collaborative engineering culture. In this role, you will be a member of our US-based engineering team. This team member will be working on one or more of the following technology initiatives:
- Candidate-facing portals and mobile apps for collecting profile information, resume details, and qualifications/credentials as well as avenues to discover and apply for jobs.
- Internal-facing operations platforms to support our teams performing:
- Recruiting (finding candidates for open jobs)
- Submittals to hospitals (submitting a candidate to a hospital)
- Credentialling (verifying that candidates are qualified to work a position)
- Integrations to automate or streamline manual workflows.
- CSM-driven marketing platforms design to attract the best candidate talent to work for us.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain web-based applications using Next.js and React, serving both internal users and external healthcare professionals.
- Designs and builds API & services using python and FastAPI to perform integrations between internal and external services.
- Design and build batch jobs and event handlers to automate scheduled processes.
- Build and optimize API routes in Next.js to integrate with third-party vendor services and internal systems.
- Design and implement secure authentication and identity solutions.
- Write and maintain clean and maintainable code.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and PyTest to ensure reliability and confidence in production deployments.
- Conduct code reviews on GitHub, providing constructive feedback to peers and promoting best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA teams to refine requirements, validate UI designs, and support testing efforts.
- Monitor application logs, errors, and performance metrics to proactively identify and address technical issues.
- Partner with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications within AWS environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and development workflows.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering leadership.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3 years experience building and releasing full-stack software solutions.
- Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Python and familiarity with API frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Familiarity with event driven architecture.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Understanding of CSS (Flexbox, Grid, animations).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP/S protocols.
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
OPTIONAL SKILLS
- Experience or interest in Generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain).
- Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts or frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience integrating AI-powered features into web applications (e.g., chatbots, recommendation engines).
- Familiarity with a CMS system, like Contentful, would be a huge plus.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact
- Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Compensation Range
$90,600.00 - $113,300.00Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life insurance, 401K with discretionary match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
