Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounting manager with ERP system expertise to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and cost management in a manufacturing environment. The accounting manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and leveraging ERP tools to enhance financial accuracy, process efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant financial regulations.
- Analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
ERP System Management:
- Manage and optimize the company’s ERP system for financial and accounting processes.
- Ensure seamless integration between the accounting function and other business operations such as production and inventory.
- Implement process improvements within the ERP system to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- Provide training and support to accounting staff and other departments on ERP system best practices.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Lead the company’s audit preparation and assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support the preparation of tax filings and audits.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage accounting professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the finance and operations teams.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including forecasting cash flows and capital investments.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure timely reporting.
- Work cross-functionally to identify and implement best practices in accounting and finance operations.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and their implementation in manufacturing settings.
- Proven experience in managing cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls in a manufacturing company.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check (ADD TO RESPONSIBILITIES)
