Solarity Credit Union is seeking a part-time 30 hour per week, Human Resources Coordinator at our Yakima headquarters.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides extraordinary service to internal customers and stakeholders through the timely, thorough, and complete delivery of information and/or service. Performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the HR Department. The level, quality, and depth of service provided is viewed as beneficial by the Solarity team and positively contributes to the quality of service the HR team delivers.

A Day in the life of an HR Coordinator...
Each day starts with managing HR requests - whether it's a new hire with onboarding questions, an employee needing payroll help, or a manager looking for support. You're the first point of contact, responding quickly and routing issues to the right team member when needed.
You keep candidates moving through the hiring process by checking references, scheduling interviews, and communicating updates. Once offers go out, you guide new hires through onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Behind the scenes, you keep HR operations running - auditing employee files, maintaining accurate records, and generating reports on performance, engagement, and service metrics. You look for ways to streamline processes, automate routine tasks, and improve efficiency wherever possible.
As payroll deadlines approach, you process changes, ensure compliance, and verify timekeeping accuracy.
Before the day wraps, you contribute to a salary survey - part of your ongoing effort to ensure Solarity's compensation remains competitive.
