Summary: The SWIFT Alliance Lead Developer will be responsible for developing solutions to meet business objectives in alignment with strategic plans of both Swift and our alliance partners. This position requires strong leadership, accountability, communication, and customer focus as well as technical proficiency in application development.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day activities of small teams or projects within a larger team environment.
• Provide input to project plans, schedules, and methodologies.
• Ensure quality by implementing appropriate standards, processes, tools, and testing methodologies.
• Effectively apply the principles of process improvement and continual improvement process.
• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements and software design.
• Prepare and deliver status reports to management on projects.
• Maintain project documentation such as project plans, issue lists, meeting minutes, etc.
• Apply results-oriented problem-solving techniques to resolve complex problems.
• Interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
Qualifications:
• Requires BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in systems engineering, application development, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in C++, Java, Python development.
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Trello highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong leadership, accountability, communication, and customer focus.
• Knowledge of banking industry preferred.
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $121,564.00 to $225,762.00 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
