NurtureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team working in special schools across Derby City and Derbyshire. This is a term-time position ideal for a nurse who thrives in a child-focused, collaborative, and community-based environment.
đ©ââïž What Youâll Do
- Deliver hands-on nursing care for children and young people with complex health needs (e.g. epilepsy, enteral feeding, tracheostomy care).
- Support and supervise school staff in delivering delegated health procedures, using the TEACH competency framework.
- Build trusted relationships with pupils, families, and school teams.
- Contribute to the development and review of Individual Healthcare Plans (IHCPs).
- Escalate health or safeguarding concerns and participate in multi-agency planning.
â What Weâre Looking For
- NMC Registered Nurse (Child Branch or LD preferred).
- Experience working with CYP in schools, community or paediatric settings.
- Confident in your clinical practice and calm under pressure.
- A great communicator, team player, and advocate for inclusion and safety.
