Fairfield Independent Hospital in St Helens is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. 

We have an opportunity for Hospitality Assistant to join their team of staff.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Service Delivery and Patient Care
  • Provide a welcoming, responsive service for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring all food and beverage requirements are met promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and deliver meals, drinks, and snacks in line with dietary requirements and service expectations.
  • Ensure service areas are always well-presented, clean, and stocked in accordance with hospital and food hygiene policies.
  • Attend service briefings and follow clear instructions from the Hospital Services Lead or Deputy Hospitality Lead.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure they are delivered to the agreed standard and within agreed timeframes.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferably in hotels, restaurants, or room service environments).
  • Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
  • Good understanding of food safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
