Job description:
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Shift Coordinator to be based at our Brassington site, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The role holder will be responsible for managing and leading a small team of multi skilled production operators. All this is to be done in a safe and sustainable way, in line with agreed cost budget and the Sibelco Values and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading a team of multi skilled operators
- Work as part of a multi skilled team on a rotating shift pattern
- Safely operate a variety of mobile equipment
- Decision making in the absence of line management
- Assist with other aspects of the site including inspection and basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan
- Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and sustainable way, in line with the Sibelco Values and policies.

About You:
- Proactive and Positive approach to working safely, with excellent knowledge of Health & Safety
- Enthusiastic team player, with an honest and pragmatic attitude
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience operating within a glass recycling or similar work environment
- Management skills would be advantageous
- Ability to make decisions and assume responsibility for the site in the absence of the Production Supervisor
