As our Service Excellence division continues to grow, we’re seeking highly experienced Senior Data Platform Consultants to lead strategic service delivery, shape capability direction, and mentor across the business. This role is ideal for those who have led large-scale projects or multiple teams, influenced client strategy, and driven innovation in data platforms.
You’ll be a key figure in our support model, ensuring platforms deliver consistent value through proactive optimisation, enhancements, and strategic client engagement.
What you'll be doing...
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading customer engagements and ensuring process adherence
- Mentoring and guiding consultants across multiple teams
- Managing service delivery tasks across large-scale or multi-team projects
- Hands-on development using tools like Snowflake and Matillion
- Driving documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
- Supporting long-term client relationships with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic alignment
- Influencing client roadmaps and strategic direction
- Driving systemic performance improvements and scalable solutions
- Establishing cross-team documentation and redundancy plans to ensure seamless support
What you'll need to succeed...
You might be a great fit if you have:
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering for analytics
- Proven experience leading large-scale service delivery and client strategy
- Strong knowledge of cloud data warehousing (preferably in Snowflake)
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools (preferably Matillion)
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and an ITIL certification (preferred)
- Expertise in data modelling (Kimball methodology) and warehousing concepts
- A strategic, mentoring mindset and dedication to capability growth
- Uncomfortable with flexible working hours or early-morning monitoring (CET hours ±1)
- Not proactive or collaborative in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
