Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Revenue Reporting & Billings Manager to lead our revenue reporting and billing operations in India. This role will manage a team of finance professionals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in reporting and billing processes. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing people in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 5 finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Oversee end-to-end revenue reporting and billing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile revenue data from multiple sources (invoices, dashboards, and internal systems) and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Support the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting is delivered on time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, sales, and legal) to streamline workflows and improve revenue reporting processes.
• Drive automation and efficiency in billing and reporting functions while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis.
• Act as a key liaison between global finance leadership and the India-based team, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams, with strong people leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, billing processes, reconciliation, and month-end close best practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to process improvements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.
