About the role
Join Wyndham in this newly created role and provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Executive Officer to the CEO.
Utilising your previous experience in a similar role, you will expertly compile reports and attachments in Councils Report Management system as well as managing the booking of venues and catering for meetings.
Attention to detail is key in this role as you will assist with the collation and proofing of collateral material including PowerPoint presentations, posters, reports, and other communications as required.
What your day will look like
• Providing direct support, assistance and guidance to the Executive Officer to ensure they meet organisational requirements, timelines and expectations
• The management of the team’s website and intranet pages
• Data entry and management of excel spreadsheets
• Under guidance, supporting the delivery of a range of events, including training workshops, network meetings and information presentations as well as projects for the CEO’s Office
• Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of purchase requests, purchases orders and invoice payments and attendance sheets
• Under guidance, supporting the creation of written reports, and internal communication materials and content as required
• Assisting with agenda development, calendar management and report creation as required within internal systems
What you will bring
• Degree or diploma in business OR lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills OR relevant experience and work skills commensurate with the requirements
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft package skills e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience compiling reports and attachments in a Council Report Management system
• Ability to establish, maintain and continually improve systems, procedures and processes in relation to administrative requirements
• Previous experience working in similar role within local government (desirable)
• Experience working with raw data and/or data entry
• Experience in the management of excel spreadsheets
