About the Role
Are you looking to jumpstart a career in manufacturing? As a Production Associate at Closet America, you’ll be hands-on with our fabrication equipment, helping bring custom closet and organization systems to life. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No prior experience is required—just the right attitude and work ethic.
What You’ll Do
Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
Perform basic quality checks to ensure product standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of machines and workspaces
Support training of new team members once proficient
Carry out repetitive, routine tasks and rotate across equipment as needed
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Recommend process improvements and take on additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Forklift certification a plus (not required)
No manufacturing experience required—we’ll train you!
Skills & Attributes:
Strong verbal communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
Comfortable with structure, routines, and repetitive tasks
Eagerness to learn and grow in a manufacturing setting
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active role. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day and should be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Safety gear is provided and required.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time: 40 hours/week minimum
Monday–Friday; some Saturdays and overtime as needed
Bi-weekly pay schedule
Eligible for overtime pay per FLSA standards
