Who We Are Looking For
We're searching for a highly driven, experienced construction leader who is skilled in planning, quality control, client relations, financials, and strategic growth. This role requires a hands-on approach to operations and a proven ability to lead teams in the field.
Essential Qualifications
Industry Leadership: 10+ years of comprehensive experience in the construction, utility, or underground services industry, with a proven track record of managing and scaling operations.
Operational Excellence: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of trenching and boring operations, including project bidding, scheduling, budget management, and quality control.
Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading construction teams, including managing team leads and resolving on-site issues.
Business Development & Client Relations: Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, securing new projects, contract negotiation, and a strong ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Financial & Business Management: Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability.
Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of underground utility installation methods, relevant materials, heavy equipment operation, safety protocols (e.g., OSHA), and industry best practices.
Regulatory Understanding: Possess or be able to obtain the necessary licensing for Water & Sewer in accordance with local regulations. A solid understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes is essential.
