The IT Financial Systems Specialist will provide administrative and technical support within the IT Financial Systems team. This team acts as IT Business Partners to the various HQ finance groups, collaborating with them to assess situations and take on challenges. They are also the administrators of the various tools used by the finance team, working hand in hand with finance to produce the best results. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who excels at providing administrative support and is passionate about developing their technical skills!
Responsibilities
IT Financial Systems Support
- Help build, maintain, and improve various analytics tools, trackers, and reports supporting the IT Finance Solutions team.
- Handle access requests for the systems supported by the team (Oracle ERP, HFM, Integrity, etc.), including performing an annual (and sometimes quarterly) recertification of access for these tools.
- Support all program level activities and projects on the Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River) platform and address end-user issues.
- Provide end-user support for various less technical tools (SharePoint sites, Smartsheets, FIS PayNet, etc.)
- Perform high-level monthly testing of financial tools (Oracle EPBCS and Oracle Strategic Modeling).
- Perform various internal controls, providing data and documentation to internal and external auditors in a timely fashion. Support other peer control performers to verify compliance.
IT Budgeting & Administration
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and their comparison back to actuals. Support departmental budgeting processes by providing insights into cost trends and projections.
- Work closely with the team to monitor and control expenses, ensuring that costs remain within budget and meet company profitability goals.
- Code invoices and route them to the appropriate approvers.
- Provide guidance and support on our MCM (Masco Contract Management) platform, including contract input, tracking, and administration.
- Participate in continuous improvement plans/initiatives and find opportunities for efficiency.
- Purchase laptops, peripherals, and other miscellaneous items for the HQ IT department and other remote locations.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems, software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheet, ServiceNow).
- Proactive and self-directed learner with a solid sense of initiative. Demonstrates intellectual curiosity by independently exploring new topics, quickly grasping foundational concepts, and diving deeper without needing detailed instructions.
- Excellent prioritization skills. Ability to handle the details but also stay focused on the big picture.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization while respecting confidentiality.
- Collaborates well, stretches themselves and others, and cultivates inclusion.
