In this role, you will support our Mortgage Reporting and Insights team. This role is critical in managing relationships with business partners, ensuring reporting consistency across the organization, and delivering actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong mortgage product knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with business partners and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment with business needs

  • Ensure mortgage reporting is consistent across the broader reporting landscape, including LFO and Credit Risk

  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements for reporting, analytics, and deep dives

  • Develop functional specifications and documentation to support reporting builds, requiring strong product knowledge and technical understanding

  • Analyze portfolio data to identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities, and deliver data-driven recommendations

  • Create and maintain recurring insights and proactively share them with business partners

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of reporting initiatives and support continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years' relevant experience

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in the mortgage industry is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

  • Familiarity/experience with SQL or other data querying tools

  • Strong understanding of mortgage products and reporting processes

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical documentation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $65,400 - $88,200 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
