Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership/automotive vehicle repair, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. As a Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating service dispatch, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all service tasks. Service Advisors that want a change of pace are encouraged to apply.

**Key Responsibilities: **

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor and manage the progress of work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in a shop foreman, service dispatcher, or service advisor role within the automotive industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using dispatch and inventory management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

**Preferred Qualifications: **

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of CDK preferred
