Your Role

 

The Pharmacy Benefits & Claims Implementation team is responsible for the accurate and timely build and deployment of Pharmacy Benefits and Networks to support online claims adjudication at participating pharmacies. The Business Analyst, Experienced will report to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Benefits Implementation. In this role you will represent the Benefits and Claims Implementation team as a subject matter expert for project tasks, documentation review, setup validation and reporting.

Responsibilities

Your Work

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
  • Formulate and define routine systems scope and objectives through research combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
  • Develop, prepare and analyze reports for management review, and present to various levels of management
  • Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
  • Analyze actual results against plan and forecast and recommend interventions where appropriate

  • Validate critical time bound documentation for accuracy against setup intent and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather business requirements and options for execution of those requirements

  • Work with contracted business partners and others to maintain and validate Pharmacy Network Hierarchy and Rates, Pharmacy Benefit Matrices and other Pharmacy Benefit data

  • Investigate, troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of Pharmacy Benefit & Network related defects and incidents 

  • Support internal and external audits with reporting, subject matter expertise and representation where required

  • Support Benefits & Claims Implementation team through cross training to help meet crucial deliverables and service level agreements

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience

  • Requires experience building formulas, Pivot Tables and using vLookup in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience building and executing Tableau queries greatly desired

  • Prior understanding of Medicare and Commercial health plan benefit setup and configuration desired

  • Strong data analysis and validation experience required

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
