With a national footprint and a team of more than 170 professionals, we provide the infrastructure and service that keeps the conversation going—securely, reliably, and at scale.
About the Role
As our Manager of Operations, you'll lead the charge in delivering seamless, high-quality telecommunications services for events, tenants, and facility operations. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic coordination—managing technical teams, supervising onsite builds, and collaborating with clients and venue partners to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Whether you're leading an install, solving complex connectivity challenges, or mentoring your team, you’re the steady hand that ensures everything stays connected—literally and figuratively.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and develop a team of 2–25 technicians and/or supervisors across show installations and daily facility operations
- Oversee equipment usage, inventory, and scheduling to ensure resources are ready and on time
- Lead onsite setups for events, tenant installations, and permanent infrastructure projects
- Interpret and work from floorplans, blueprints, and network diagrams to design and execute cable routing and telecom installations
- Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and facility management—balancing needs, expectations, and timelines
- Act as the facility’s operational leader and primary contact in the absence of the General Manager
- Order materials, track project timelines, and manage the overall quality of installations
- Support technical training and employee development initiatives to build a high-performing team
- Provide regular performance feedback and annual reviews for team members
- Troubleshoot network issues related to routers, switches, and phone/data systems
- Occasionally work in tight, elevated, or dusty environments to complete infrastructure installations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- 5–7 years of experience in telecom, convention, or event technology services
- 3–5 years of proven team leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple installations at once
- Ability to read and interpret network drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience installing and maintaining Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and fiber infrastructure
- Thorough knowledge of switch/router configurations and telephone/data connectivity
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
- Must be comfortable working in small or elevated spaces as needed
