IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Army Capability Manager (ACM) for Strategic Missile Defense Intern to serve at U.S. Space and Missile Defense Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama

The candidate will assist and coordinate with the DoD, Joint, Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and MDA staffs. They will assist the ACM in the analysis and approach to integrate strategic missile defense DOTMLPF-P products and Materiel Developer fielding plans with the development and implementation of strategic missile defense. The candidate will provide support that focuses on the formulation and periodic assessment/reassessment of strategic goals and plans to achieve them, including themes, messages, and audiences, as well as presentation support, i.e., PowerPoint presentations/Excel spreadsheets. This effort requires analysis of Army and Joint strategic missile defense environments, identification of strategic partnerships with key organizations, and strategic outreach through regular information exchanges with various external organizations. The candidate will assist the Government and attend selected meetings and conferences.  These activities include attendance at working group level and senior leader level meetings, assistance to the combat developers in the development of force structure documents.  Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks.

A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Experience:  

• Five (5) or more years of experience providing expert advice and technical direction on complex problems and processes related to regional and strategic missile defense
• Thorough understanding of the DoD acquisition process
• Technical, operational planning, and analytical experience for the integration of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) elements into the Army and global missile defense organizations and facilities
• Strategic-level missile defense experience
• Project basis of estimate and schedule development skills
• Expertise with Army Air Defense link architecture and familiarization with C2BMC

Education and Required Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited college with 12 years of relevant experience. Candidates should have: 

• Seven (7) years of Army Staff experience
• Practical and theoretical mastery in the project process, business, or technical domain
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
