We are currently seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence (BI) to join our IT team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Director, EA & BI, this role is responsible for leading the Business Intelligence Applications team, which includes BI developers, product owners, and analysts. The team is accountable for delivering scalable, secure, well-governed and user-centric BI solutions that support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and data governance initiatives.
This role will provide strategic leadership across product management, business relationship management, and roadmap development, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, financial planning, and data governance frameworks.
Key elements of this role include::As the Manager, Business Intelligence (BI), you will:
- Lead the development and execution of BI strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
- Manage the delivery of BI solutions that support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Foster a data-driven culture and promote data literacy across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize analytics use cases.
- Support data governance initiatives including data quality, stewardship, and compliance.
- Oversee team resource planning, performance management, and professional development.
- Balance Opex and Capex investments to optimize BI capabilities and value delivery.
- Develop and maintain BI product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Ensure the timely and effective deployment of BI platforms and tools.
To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or enterprise applications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and BI architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with modern BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Databricks), data warehousing, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and cross-functional team leadership.
