About the team and the role
This role forms part of our Aviation Operations team, Reporting into the Senior Manager Operations Resilience. The Resilience Coordinator provides administrative and business management support to Sydney Airport’s Resilience function, ensuring smooth operation of the Resilience Management System (RMS). The role is central to coordinating documentation, governance, and engagement activities that enable business units, partners, and stakeholders to maintain preparedness and compliance.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to
- Provide administrative and governance support for resilience frameworks, meetings, and reporting.
- Coordinate documents, registers, and templates
- Support scheduling, agendas, packs, and minutes for resilience governance forums and committee meetings.
- Assist with training and exercise logistics, including invitations, materials, and recordkeeping.
- Manage SharePoint / intranet content for the Resilience Hub to ensure accessibility of current plans and resources.
- Provide incident and emergency administrative support.
- Track and follow up on compliance and assurance actions.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in business, administration, aviation management, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in an administration, business coordination, or governance support role.
- Experience in aviation, risk, safety, or emergency management environments advantageous.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting support and document preparation.
- Confident in using Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
