Role Detail
Reporting to the Head of Technology Commercial and Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting with the management of the Technology budget, vendor portfolio and procurement activities.
Through detailed analysis, this position is responsible for gaining a thorough understanding of the commercial agreements within the Technology function and assisting in the management of the vendor portfolio to improve the underlying cost base.
This is a value-add role that assists in the co-ordination of the annual budget, forecasting and reporting working closely with the finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Procurement & finance activities including vendor contract negotiations, vendor onboarding, raising Purchase Orders, processing invoices, and working with finance around month and year end processes including accruals.
- Financial management of the Technology budget.
- Contributing to and developing governance structures and processes with vendors to ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms and business needs.
- Vendor management, tracking contracts (renewals), analysing costs/billing to ensure no value leakage from existing agreements and contracts.
- Developing and maintaining a sound understanding of the supplier market and effectively applying this to the development of supplier relationships.
- Project work from building business cases, financial modelling/analysis, developing procurement strategies to vendor negotiations, contract signing and onboarding.
- Other reporting as needed to support the broader Technology Leadership team.
About You

You will also bring:
- Experience in a financial or commercial role such as a Commercial Analyst, FP&A Analyst or Management Accountant with CA / CPA qualification
- You will be comfortable working with budgets, spreadsheets, and financial reports
- You’ll need to talk to vendors, negotiate deals, and work with internal teams (like tech and finance), so excellent verbal and written communication skills are key.
- You will be handling contracts, financials and pivotal documents so exceptional attention to detail with a pragmatic approach to problem solving will be essential as will project management and time management skills
- You will be a problem solver who can notice errors or anomalies in a contract or invoice, with the ability to help fix it.
- Experience in procurement or vendor management will be looked on favourably — especially if you’ve worked with contracts, cost analysis, or supplier relationships.
