Senior Associate - Commercial Litigation presso Clayton Utz

We are seeking a remarkable Senior Associate to join our high performing Commercial Litigation practice in Melbourne

The role

Our Melbourne Commercial Litigation practice currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their growing team. This exciting opportunity sits within the our renowned Commercial Litigation practice in Victoria under Partner Fred Prickett . Fred and his team have a well-respected reputation in the market and are considered as trusted advisers to various corporate and government clients.

This role has a high level of client interaction and will see you managing client relationships, leading the strategic direction of matters, working closely with counsel and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with this high performing team and have an appetite for mentoring and coaching more junior team members.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Senior Associate position  
• Demonstrated experience in a range of litigious matters
• Preferably experience in class actions, regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings
• Strong academic achievements
• Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation
• The ability to project manage and lead matters through to completion
• Experience  mentoring, supervising and delegating work to more junior lawyers
• A strong focus on owning and delivering exceptional client service
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environment

In addition to this, we are looking for a dynamic operator who can contribute to the success of this practice, who is excited about the prospect of driving business development and building on the exceptional service we deliver to our clients.
