Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a Clinical Informaticist.
A Clinical Informaticist plays a crucial role in healthcare by bridging the gap between clinical staff and IT systems. Duties are performed in both an office setting and clinical care units. Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of clinical workflows within Cerner. Serves as a resource to all users for implementation, maintenance, and training.
Position available: Full-time, Days, 40 hrs/wk
Responsibilities:
- Provides initial and as needed training for providers
- Maintains knowledge of updates and changes within Cerner
- Submits service and change request tickets to Cerner
- Tests and validates Cerner changes before moving to Production
Skills:

Education/Experience:
- RN Strongly Preferred
- Strong knowledge of Cerner clinical workflows
- Experience in training and orientation of clinical staff
- Relevant Acute Care experience. Medical Surgical and/or ED, OB, Critical Care experience preferred.
