IS Clinical Informaticist presso Harrison County Hospital

Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a Clinical Informaticist.

A Clinical Informaticist plays a crucial role in healthcare by bridging the gap between clinical staff and IT systems. Duties are performed in both an office setting and clinical care units. Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of clinical workflows within Cerner. Serves as a resource to all users for implementation, maintenance, and training.

Position available: Full-time, Days, 40 hrs/wk

Responsibilities:

• Provides initial and as needed training for providers
• Maintains knowledge of updates and changes within Cerner
• Submits service and change request tickets to Cerner
• Tests and validates Cerner changes before moving to Production

Education/Experience:

• RN Strongly Preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cerner clinical workflows
• Experience in training and orientation of clinical staff
• Relevant Acute Care experience. Medical Surgical and/or ED, OB, Critical Care experience preferred.
