A Day in the Life As the Director of North America Facilities Management (FM) Sourcing, you’ll lead strategic sourcing initiatives across our manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices, managing a $90M+ spend. Reporting to the VP of Indirect Sourcing – Supply Chain & Manufacturing, you’ll partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and site leadership to drive cost optimization, sustainability, and innovation in alignment with L’Oréal’s L4TF (L’Oréal for the Future) program. Your key responsibilities will include:Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute North America Facilities Management sourcing strategies that enhance competitiveness, service, quality, and sustainability.Sustainability Initiatives: Lead L4TF projects, including solar PPA implementation, waste reduction, and energy efficiency programs.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Plant Managers, Operations Directors, and Finance Leadership to align sourcing strategies with business priorities.Supplier Management: Build strong supplier partnerships, identify market trends, and drive innovation to support L’Oréal’s ambitions.Category Optimization: Oversee spend analysis, identify synergies between US and Canada, and translate global strategies into actionable North America plans. We Are Looking For You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and operational excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.Skills & Expertise:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Category Management, with expertise in Operations and Energy/EHS markets.Strong project management, negotiation, and analytical skills.Certifications like CPSM, CPM, or CIRM are a plus.Leadership Qualities:Strategic vision and executive presence.Change management and influence.Team building and mentorship.
