Summary

The Facility Assessment Renewal Manager will be responsible for managing the renewal and refresh process for all existing facility condition assessments completed by Kraus-Anderson. This customer-facing role will involve reviewing prior assessment work, developing and executing a renewal process, creating a cost and service model, and building a marketing plan to maintain annual client engagement. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Design and implement a comprehensive process for renewing and refreshing existing facility condition assessments.
  • Manage, Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the renewal process and provide process improvement recommendations.
  • Create and maintain a cost model for the renewal service and develop a service model to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Assist clients in rebalancing their 10-year capital plans and support the development of projects identified in prior facility condition assessments.
  • Analyze the results and make suggested changes/improvements
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment of renewal activities with organizational goals and client needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, reviewing work completed since the initial facility condition assessment and capital plan.
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to maintain organized, annual connections with clients, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or architecture, with a strong understanding of facility construction, maintenance, and associated costs.
  • Deep knowledge of facility condition assessments and capital planning.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement processes and cost models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in developing marketing plans or business strategies.
  • Proficiency in project management and organizational tools.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals 
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures 
  • Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others 
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tacticall

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Associates degree in a related field. 
  • Experience in architecture, construction management, building operations, or engineering.
  • Association with Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA) or American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) trade organizations.

Other:

  • Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and adhere to KA’s Motor Vehicle Policy
  • Travel within the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas will be required on a regular basis.  Additional travel, including overnight), will be up to 25% of the time.

  • Must work and climb on a jobsite to review or inspect work progress
  • Ability to maneuver on ladders and scaffolding, walk through sand or mud, climb on and around vehicles and construction equipment

Salary Range:  $85,000 to 125,000 annually, plus vehicle allowance and discretionary incentive program

Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
