These applications require higher-performing CPUs, components, servers, and data centers, all generating significant heat that traditional cooling systems struggle to manage.

Accelsius is developing revolutionary direct-to-chip, 2-phase cooling technologies that enable Server OEMs, Data Centers, Edge Computing Operators, and 5G deployments to achieve performance, sustainability, scale, and cost goals while serving this high-growth market for data services.

Position Summary

The Lab Technician will play a critical role in supporting prototype development, system builds, and experimental testing within our engineering lab. This position is highly hands-on, requiring technical curiosity, precision, and a willingness to collaborate across teams to accelerate innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, configure, and maintain prototype systems and lab test setups.
  • Prepare and interpret specifications for fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Support engineers in conducting lab experiments, recording data, and troubleshooting test results.
  • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly, including handling cooling components, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety standards, and equipment calibration.
  • Assist with the build and integration of rack-level systems during early deployments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes and test methodologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience:
    • 2–4 years of relevant industry or lab experience (electronics, mechanical systems, or hardware prototyping).
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with hardware assembly and testing.
    • Familiarity with heating/cooling systems, fluid dynamics, or electronics troubleshooting preferred.
    • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Positive attitude and collaborative approach in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Previous startup or R&D lab experience is a plus.
