What will you be doing?

The Accounts Receivable Manager oversees all aspects of the accounts receivable function within the accounting department.  You will lead our A/R team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, cash application, and financial reporting to support the company’s financial health. 

Some of your day-to-day tasks?

•    Supervises a team of 2-4 team mebers, managing workloads and performance in the department.

•    Performs and manages all customer invoices, monthly statements, and credit memos.

•    Manages collection efforts, including follow-up communication, negotiating past due accounts, and referring accounts to third-party collection agencies.

•    Assists in the monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts related to accounts receivable.

•    Assists in the annual financial statement audit.

•    Collaborates with management and other departments.

•    Generates and reviews periodic financial reports.

•    Analyzes and improves processes for managing A/R.

•    Ensures compliance with internal controls, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

What do you need to be able to do?

•    Bachelor's degree is preferred

•    Prior experience (at least 5 years) in Accounts Receivable is required. Construction industry experience is also preferable

•    Proficiency in calculating, recording, and inputting financial data accurately

•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software

•    Great communication skills and attention to detail
