Objectives of the Position:
- Assists QC Analyst, QC Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager in carrying out development activities in the Process Laboratory and QC Lab.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Carries out laboratory trials to solve production problems, to modify selected products according to customers’ requirements, to improve production processes and to pre-test production procedures received from BASF SE or BASF Regional prior to up-scaling them into production scale.
- Follows up the results of the laboratory trials and submits a monthly report.
- Participates in development and trouble-shooting activities.
- Implements quality management activities according to ISO 9001.
- Complies with the Safety Regulations.
- Takes care of and maintains all laboratory facilities and equipment.
- Carries out administrative work which is related to development activities in laboratory.
- Maintains and improves the quality system.
- Maintain the workplace and working environment that support work safety and efficient activities according to plant safety regulation as well as company EHS requirement.
- Ensures that the activities do not disturb or cause any problem for the company and also for the environment.
- Support Quality Checking in QC Laboratory and reporting to the QC Supervisor and QA Managers
- Support the QA Dept in order to get the application testing result.
- Maintain and implement of Halal Assurance System documents on site
- Support and maintain documents related to SMK3
- Create the batch card for laboratory trial and ensure the schedule is on track.
- Coordinator for maintain and distribution of SDS list of raw material and Finish goods are updated in the system and share to related parties.
Job Requirements:
- S1 in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years in polymer dispersion R&D or Production Operations
- Polymer Dispersion related Knowledge, Experimental Design Knowledge
