Job Title: Snowsports Coordinator Adult and Children’s Lessons 
Department: Adult/Child Snowsport – 7080/7085 
Location: Homewood Mountain Resort 
Reports to: Snowsports Manager 
Employment Type: Full-time/Seasonal

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations of our Snowsports School through expert logistics, facility management, and playful guest service. Working closely with the Snowsports Supervisors and facility teams, you’ll create a smooth check-in/out experience, maintain safe and welcoming on-snow and base-area spaces, and serve as a key link among our instructors, families, and resort teams. You’re friendly, organized, and always keen to make magic happen. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the facilities used in Adult and Children’s Lessons including check-in/check-out areas, rentals, lunch spaces, and makeshift learning areas. 

  • Maintain a polished, welcoming, and organized environment. 

  • Clearly communicate with parents/guardians and instructors regarding schedules, location logistics, and daily guidance. 

  • Champion guest service excellence: anticipate questions, troubleshoot smoothly, and leave families smiling. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Rental, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to keep lessons running smoothly. 

  • Model and maintain safety and child-friendly protocols throughout the children’s school. 

  • Assist with resort events, training sessions, and special programs as needed. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications


Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills - especially at check-in counters and with families. 

  • Calm, collected, and organized. 

  • Thrives in a compact, fast-paced workspace where flexibility and attention to detail are everything. 

  • Proficient with resort registration systems. 

  • Warm, welcoming, and professional. 

  • Previous experience or comfort working with children and families in service-oriented settings. 

  • Comfortable working in varied mountain conditions, including high-altitude and inclement weather environments. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old.  

Preferred: 

  • Experience in guest services, childcare, or early childhood education. 

  • Knowledge of snowsports environments or familiarity with lesson logistics. 

  • Multilingual skills. 

  • Comfortable stepping onto snow to assist with transitions or equipment as needed. 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Required: High school diploma or GED. 

  • Preferred: Early education qualification.  

 

Physical Demands & Working Conditions 

  • Ability to work in high-altitude, cold, snowy, and rapidly changing weather environments. 

  • Comfortable in small indoor spaces. 

  • Frequently stands, walks, bends, and occasionally lifts light teaching or support materials. 

  • Swift transitions outdoors (brief exposure to cold), then right back to indoors. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 

Wage Range $22.00 - $25.00
