Position Description:

Sr. Principal IT Business Analyst for Medtronic, Inc located in Mounds View, MN.  Responsible for delivering and supporting IT solutions quality mgmt. platforms within the business.

Responsible for collaborating with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes. Responsible for coordination of business agenda during solution delivery process. Identify end-to-end processes and operations likely to be impacted due to the technical build of the solution.  Document and communicate impacts to the relevant solution and process owners to plan for process changes.  Conduct technical requirement and documenting performance requirements.  Perform technical writing and design.  Translation of business requirements into technology requirements including application design specifications.  Leverage process flows, data flows, migration and system integration, interface testing, and technical data requirements) and communicate functional requirements to the Solution Developers.  Provide technical inputs to Application Developers and collaborate with the appropriate groups during different stages of solution delivery. Design, build, configure, integration, and testing to support the build of a solution meets all technical requirements. Drive business agenda during solution delivery process. Utilize SAP enterprise systems.  Support integration between SAP Waterfall and Agile to provide efficient, error-free and seamless data transmissions. Leverage Oracle, MS SQL Server Mgmt. Studio, SQL, and Toad.  Integration tools to include MuleSoft, REST, webMethods, and Kafka.  Utilize project mgmt. tools consisting of ServiceNow, MS Visio, HP ALM, VersionOne, Documentum, and Project Portfolio Management. **Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Mounds View, MN. Will require physical presence at worksite in Mounds View, MN 4 days per week. #LI-DNI.

Basic Qualifications:

Master of Science in Management Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering or related technical field. Requires six (6) years’ experience as an IT Analyst or related occupation in IT. Must possess at least six (6) years’ experience in each of the following: Conduct technical requirement and documenting performance requirements; perform technical writing and design; translation of business requirements into technology requirements, including application design specifications; process flows, data flows, migration and system integration, interface testing, and technical data requirements; design, build, configure, integration, and testing to support the build of a solution meets all technical requirements; SAP architecture configuration in CRM, ECC, Business Objects, Solman; integration of Waterfall and Agile with SAP; Oracle, MS SQL Server Management Studio, SQL, and Toad; MuleSoft, REST, webMethods, Kafka; ServiceNow, MS Visio, HP ALM, VersionOne, Documentum, Project Portfolio Management.

The position reports to Medtronic, Inc., 8200 Coral Sea Street, Mounds View, MN 55112 and is eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Mounds View, MN. Will require physical presence at worksite in Mounds View, MN 4 days per week.

Salary: $168,000 to $208,800 per year
