Job Title: Project Coordinator - 24m Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £33,800 rising to £37,500 when role objectives are reached
Contract: Full time & fixed term contract 24 months
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM & Friday 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
The Opportunity:
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll work alongside our Manufacturing Engineering team to help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support project coordination tasks while gaining experience in planning, communication, and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
As a Project Coordinator, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Plan project activities by helping to facilitate meetings, update schedules, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Tracking progress using tools such as Microsoft Planner. Produce dashboards and reports helping to identify delays or risks.
- Communicating updates and decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Helping to improve processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions.
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring all project-related information is up to date and accessible
- Assisting with onboarding tasks for new starters, including updating personal information and matching them to roles.

What You Can Demonstrate:
- Teamwork & Communication: Works effectively with colleagues across departments, sharing updates clearly and supporting a collaborative working environment.
- Organisation & Time Management: Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in documentation, identifies issues early, and communicates them clearly to the relevant teams.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Takes a practical approach to resolving issues and contributes ideas to improve processes and ways of working.
What You May Have:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment, ideally in a fast-paced setting.
- Computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Project, Planner and Excel, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- An interest in project management principles (Prince 2, Agile, 6 Sigma etc)
- A proactive approach to work, with a readiness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
