What your typical day will look like 

The Performance Manager plays an important, highly specialised role within the team structure, focused on owning the best practice execution of biddable and direct media buys for our global client. Reporting to the Digital Director, you’ll have an excellent grasp of DSPs, data and technology platforms, more specifically, DV360/Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and other social platforms to advise, deliver and optimise campaigns to agreed business outcomes.

With the help of the team, you’ll be responsible for delivering towards the overarching media strategy in respect to biddable media within the portfolio, so a healthy interest towards strategy and planning is welcomed. Experience and interest towards developing skills across boarder performance media, such as ad operations and paid search will also be advantageous in supporting your development towards comprehensive and holistic performance media planning and execution.

Key responsibilities include

  • Work collaboratively with Digital Director and wider media team to support the development of media strategy and planning activity for your portfolio.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of biddable media campaigns and direct social buys.
  • Execute, monitor and optimise programmatic campaigns across Google Display & Video (DV360).
  • Extract performance report data for all internal and external meetings, and present results, trends and identifying opportunities.
  • Support and mentor junior team members with establishing best practice processes, reviewing work to ensure high standards and accuracy, and in platform troubleshooting as the subject matter expert (SME).
  • Work with clients and teams to share innovations and develop ideas as the Performance/Programmatic SME, bringing them on a journey to meet client goals.
  • Build strong relationships with publishers and partners, driving innovation, training, development and growth for our clients.

A bit about you 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce, accounting, finance or similar field.
  • Experience as a Programmatic Specialist from a media agency or similar environment.
  • Expertise in the Google Ads Platform, specifically DV360. Experience across CM, SA, GA4, GTM, and other DSPs such as TradeDesk, HiveStack, Xander, Yahoo! etc. are all welcomed but not required.
  • Experience with direct social buys, especially LinkedIn, Meta and Reddit would be highly beneficial.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate complex, technical ideas to a wide range of audiences to understand.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel Skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader on and offshore team.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to keep abreast of constantly evolving digital media landscape.
