We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Risk Consulting team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore or Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh Advisory can help your organization apply an integrated approach to identifying and assessing business-critical risks, evaluating existing risk management infrastructure elements, and constructing continuous, in-depth enterprise risk management processes.

Risk Consultants advise client companies on risk management strategies, use data to help them to optimize their risk profiles, and recommend plans to monitor and mitigate their risk exposure.

Marsh Risk Advisory is seeking a strong candidate to advise our clients on their risk management journey and build our growing practice. This role will be a vital part of Marsh’s growing Strategic Risk Consulting practice in Asia.

We will count on you to:

  • Play a senior role in project teams, lead and manage client facing Enterprise Risk Management projects; this will include conducting client interviews, running workshops or webinars, and delivering presentations.
  • Creates presentations/slides and other communications of high complexity and extracts and summarizes key insights for presentations/communications that drive internal and client meetings
  • Proactively collaborate with key client stakeholders to assess their risk and resilience requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide coaching to junior consultants, and prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Stay current on best practices in Enterprise Risk Management and contribute to the development of new products and offerings.
  • Lead on the development of commercial activities including proposals and RFP responses.
  • Support on business development activities by staying present on key trends in client industries and conducting research on potential risk exposures.
  • Make recommendations on design of research & analysis plan, manages research, data collection and documentation and conducts research & analysis of client’s risks providing guidance to clients
  • Creates presentations/slides and other communications of high complexity and extracts and summarizes key insights for presentations/communications that drive internal and client meetings
  • Advises clients in developing and adjusting project approaches, methodology, and tools to support risk programs and initiatives
  • Builds and nurtures successful business/working relationships with clients to grow books

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in consulting with a focus on enterprise risk management, risk identification and assessment, risk assurance and control testing
  • Prior experience at a consulting firm or insurance broker preferred
  • Knowledge of client's industry, broad knowledge of insurance and knowledge of the range of Marsh resources
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong core consulting skillset e.g. analysis, risk management roadmap and implementation, written and verbal communication

What makes you stand out?

  • Relevant risk management experience with ISO30001 or COSO ERM framework
  • Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at different levels
  • Experience working in multiple industries and working in other Asian nations
  • Fluency or working proficiency in both Mandarin and English, Cantonese is a plus
