We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at the Tack Room. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requirements as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus

Requirements
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years experience preferred.
- Must have Food Handlers certificate.
Experience:
- Previous experience in kitchen setting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reservation software.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
