Be part of something new from the ground up! Orlando Health’s brand-new Wiregrass Ranch Hospital is scheduled to open in April 2026, and we are seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
This position begins in late October/early November 2025 to allow time for onboarding, training, and team development before the hospital opens its doors.
About the Role
The EVS Operations Manager will lead the hospital’s Environmental Services department, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. This role requires a balance of strong leadership, hands-on operational oversight, and the ability to scale services as the hospital grows from 102 beds at opening to 300 beds in the future.
Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Lead and coach the EVS team to deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness.
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, floors, public spaces, and equipment.
- Monitor performance and provide ongoing training and development.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hospital standards.
- Support organizational goals related to budget, quality, customer experience, and engagement.
- Serve as a role model and resource for staff and leadership alike
- Willing to participate in other related duties not directly assigned
Education:
- Minimum High school diploma required.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of EVS leadership experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other hospital systems.
- Ability to travel for training and corporate meetings.
