Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports payroll manager and payroll specialists with administrative processes for the full cycle processing of a multi-state payroll.
- Provides support and works effectively with department managers, Human Resource team and employees.
- Provides coverage for payroll team during vacation and absences.
- Supports, monitors and processes other weekly functions including garnishments, misc. deductions, payroll taxes, audit time off accruals in accordance with CBA, and researching employee requests.
- Maintain payroll guidelines by ensuring policies and procedures are documented timely.
- Performs audits to ensure accuracy for collective bargaining unit processing.
- Complete assignments related to quarter end tax processing.
- Reconciles weekly payroll GL and tax files.
- Data entry, data management and audit data within the Kronos time accounting system.

- Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Education/Experience
- 3+ years of recent payroll experience required.
- Collective Bargaining Unit payroll.
- Knowledge of UKG PRO and Workforce Management system.
Critical Skills and Expertise
- Strong math, organizational and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and excel skills.
- Working knowledge of state, federal and local tax regulations, and laws.
- Ability to relate to, lead, and coach team members within department.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting deadline with accuracy and timeliness, independently and with a team.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Strong math, organizational and analytical skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have high attention to detail, and ability to guard highly confidential and sensitive information.
