Noon Duty Supervisor - Spruce Elementary School presso South San Francisco Unified

The SSFUSD community includes 15 schools supporting 8,000 students in Daly City, San Bruno, and South San Francisco.

Primary Duties:

• To supervise, cafeterias, lunchrooms, playgrounds and other areas assigned by the principal, with particular attention being given to the health, safety, and behavior of the children involved
• Assist children to observe lunchtime and playground courtesies and rules of safety

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of successful techniques relating to children's needs and interests at different age levels; child growth and development; human relationships
• Ability to deal effectively with large groups of children

This vacancy is at Spruce Elementary School 3.5 hours/day Monday - Friday; 9:50 am to 1:20 pm **Please note the position hours and days can change ** Under the supervision of a principal, supervises students during the school lunch period; maintains order in cafeterias and other areas; responsible for the supervision of the play area and the safety of students participating in play. These are "at will" positions and are not considered part of the bargaining unit. Candidates must be willing to undergo FBI & DOJ clearance and provide TB test results.
