Job Description:This role is based in our New York, NY office.
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the strategic expansion of our data-rich product portfolio serving the aerospace and defense sectors. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our offerings—developing digital solutions that deliver actionable insights and drive smarter business decisions. Ideal candidates will have experience working with complex data sets, a strong understanding of market and customer needs, and a passion for innovation in the defense and aerospace industries.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Research and gather customer needs and translate into business, functional, and technical requirements
- Manage product backlogs and prioritization via direct collaboration with stakeholders
- Guide development and infrastructure partners throughout execution, act as primary acceptance tester
- Write and maintain product usage guides and release notes for internal and external customers
- Enable Customer Success teams to best support end users
- Create and maintain status reports and dashboards
- Assist Sales and Marketing with creation of training and promotional materials
- 5+ years’ experience in customer-facing products as Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager
- Superior communication, writing, and presentation skills, for both executive and technical audiences
- Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite, including basic Excel formulas
- Basic web design and HTML/CSS skills
- Basic understanding of data and data visualization
- A strong work ethic and high standards for quality
- Willingness to perform additional tasks as required
Preferred but not required:
- Certification in Business Analysis, Product Management, or related discipline
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, GoodData, QlikView
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite of products (Jira, Confluence, Service Management)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- A passion for things that fly

The salary range for this role is $80,000- $120,000/YR based on experience.
