The Regional Sales Director, South Atlantic will lead and manage a team of Therapeutic Specialists in the Dermatology market located in the South Atlantic Region. This individual will focus on helping to launch the company and our portfolio of products to a specified customer base. They will be responsible for the acquisition, expansion, and retention of targeted business within their assigned geography, and manage region and territory alignments to ensure optimal account coverage and impact. They will develop, maintain, and utilize a high level of product and disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Arcutis products to key customers. They will manage, develop and provide leadership to a team of direct reports to achieve and/or exceed sales and earnings goals. Ideally, this candidate will be located in Baltimore/DC, Richmond, VA or Raleigh, NC.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for hiring, coaching and leading a team of Dermatology Therapeutic Specialists in the South Atlantic Region.
- Launch Arcutis and approved portfolio of products to specified customer base
- Responsible for achieving and/or exceeding all sales goals and objectives
- Responsible for supervising operations of the region which includes team development, administrative responsibilities, performance management, etc.
- Oversight/accountability for development and execution of account-specific/region business plans/strategy
- Cross-functional team collaboration in line with goals and objectives
- Establish and/or cultivate KOL relationships
- Planning/execution of and/or contribution to sales meetings
- Management/Prioritization of multiple projects at the region and possibly national level
- Expertise for disease state/market for the region
- Alignment, advocacy, and commitment to Arcutis values/vision/mission
- Manages Region budget and effectively leverages approved resources
- Adherence to compliance (company and governmental policies, procedures, and regulations) and safety/health protocols established by the company
Supervision
Directs and oversees the activities of internal and external staff, including consultants and contractors
Education & Licenses and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; advanced degree is preferred
- Typically requires 10 or more years of field sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience
- Travel required but geography/territory specific
- Valid/current driver’s license
- Required to live within the assigned geography

Working Conditions
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 20% of the time. Travel may be required up to 50% of time worked.
