Overview:

The 4Kids4Families Adoptions Supervisor will hire, train, and supervise Adoptions Worker(s) who take primary lead on all adoption recruitment and matching activities for referred children in DFPS conservatorship. Actively register children on TARE. Monitor all inquiries received regarding children. They will be engaged with all referrals into IL programs and monitoring those youth.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  •  Responsible for ongoing supervision of Adoption Workers
  •  Manage the workflow of the Adoption Workers.
  • Maintain monthly conferences with signed notes, with all workers under your supervision. All updates and cases must be discussed.
  • Monitor Adoptions case records, file compliance documents, review adoption finalization reports and court orders. Ensure records are accurate and complete, according to agency requirements.
  • Support the workers efforts to achieve legal permanency for all youth served within the program via guardianship or adoption.
  • Monitor recruitment progress for youth served by conducting monthly staffing with the workers and participating in internal and external meetings as set forth by the program or demands of the case.
  • Communicate with referral agency on a regular basis to review cases and program compliance with state regulations.
  • Communicate with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), legal, child placing agencies, and the child’s birth family.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency leadership to monitor compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Represent 4Kids4Familes in a positive manner in the community and interact cooperatively and constructively with all community partners.
  • Meet program outcomes and benchmarks set by contract and internal 4Kids4Families workflows and policies.
  • Attend court hearings, trainings, and home visits.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Social Work or Human Services field, Master’s degree preferred. 2 years’ experience as a supervisor preferred. Previous experience with adoptions required, with preference for working with teens and older children.
