On-Call Snowplow Operator presso City of Shakopee, MN

About the Department

The City of Shakopee is now accepting applications for the position of On-call Snowplow Operator. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Duties include removal of snow from city streets, parking lots, cul-de-sacs, alleys, sidewalks and parks. Must be available to plow & salt as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Position Duties

Remove snow from City streets, parking lots, cul de sacs, alleys, sidewalks and parks.  (City vehicle provided).




      

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
   
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
   
• Available to plow snowfalls of 2" or more as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.
   

Other Qualifications

Knowledge of City street system and snow plowing experience preferred.
