Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

    • Responsible for maintaining good customer relations.  Generally deals with customers and Accounts Managers concerning matters that require discretion and judgment. This includes reviewing pump applications and selections, reviewing Terms & Conditions and also reviewing customer purchase orders and specifications.
    • Receives and responds to telephone requests from customers and distributors for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations.
    • Handles the needs of Accounts Manager and customers by making price quotations using company authorized quotation tools.  Works with production units to prepare price quotations on items not in price book.
    • Maintains files of active orders and posts activities, such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments and credit changes
    • Follow procedures according to ISO 9001.
    • Safety obligations:
      • All employees understand and are able to explain the structure and objectives of the SBP.
      • All employees follow the safety rules.
      • All employees have "the right and duty to intervene" in the event a safety concern becomes evident. In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident.
    • All employees are required to comply with all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to proper use of required PPE at all times

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or three (3) plus years related experience in pumps and hydraulics. Process knowledge of chemical and/or related industry is a plus.
    • Good technical skills.
    • Knowledge of products features, benefits and use.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
    • Positive attitude and team player.
