Veterinary Technician

Animal Hospital of Regency Park is a friendly, professional, and well-educated veterinary hospital with an amazing staff. We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Our clinic is fast pace but we make it a point to keep the environment as low-stress as possible. We focus on excellent patient care and client interaction with high-quality veterinary care and affordable pricing. We strive to help our team members find a balance between life and work. We offer opportunities for our team members to continue to further their education in this growing field of veterinary medicine. We are seeking a candidate with experience loading rooms, and working closely with our veterinarians and the other team members. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of client education, high levels of animal care, be able to place IV caths, proficient in blood draws, know how to run in house labs, assist with x-rays, monitor hospitalized patients, give SQ fluids, load rooms, take history, do initial work ups, and assist the other team members in daily task. They will know how to keep an exam room clean and stocked, be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively, and be able to manage their time appropriately. Qualifications
Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
