Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Materials Manager to join our team. In this role, the Materials Manager is responsible for executing the materials plan through strategic supplier relationships and a team of direct reports.

What you'll do:
- Control and reconcile the accuracy and organization of all tower parts inventory.
- Oversee the execution of the Cycle Count program.
- Manage the Shortage Report.
- Address any negatives on hand.
- Manage the Red Tag / Non-Compliant warehouse efficiently and effectively.
- Compile weekly Usage Variance counts and manage reporting.
- Manage slow-moving material.
- Oversee and implement the control of all appropriate material procedures and policies.
- Plan and lead the execution of semi-annual physical inventory.
- Oversee the receipt of all inbound shipments.
- Effectively communicate with customers regarding tower shipping.
- Coordinate and oversee your end of all interplant shipments.
- Responsible for all receiving personnel and receiving functions.
- Ensure all receiving processes are followed accurately and timely.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and accurately entered into BPCS.
- Manage the Materials Administrator, Materials Supervisor, and all Materials employees.
- Control and reconcile everything involving tower parts inventory.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure you never run out of material.
- Compile, reconcile and report weekly and monthly SOX reports.
- Compile, reconcile and report weekly and monthly Scrap reporting.
- Report End of Month transactions and reports to accounting.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 3 of which need to be in a supervisory capacity.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate all the machinery used by your team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), Word and Outlook.
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints, drawings, or other technical material.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
