Under the direction of the Administrative Director, the Credentialed Teacher for Social Studies is entrusted with guiding the educational journey of assigned students by constructing a dynamic and adaptable program, fostering a classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic excellence and personal development.

Requirements / Qualifications • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required • Degree in the subject they will teach or direct subject-area teaching experience • A valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or Single Subject Teaching Credential or equivalent or combination of credentials authorizing K-12 teaching service in a specific arts area • English Learner authorization required • Teaching experience in a public or private school required • Previous teaching experience with the ability to engage and inspire students • Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance is required • Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan clearance is required A complete application file consists of: -Cover Letter -Certificated online application through EdJoin -Current Resume -Three letters of reference The following are required for this position prior to the offer of employment: Fingerprint Clearance and TB Clearance
